Patti Shales Lefkos left her teaching career and went to journalism school at age 60, by age 67 she was trekking the Himalayas solo and at 73 published her first book.
She is now a revered Canadian writer and journalist. Her work has appeared in many top tier publications including: The Globe and Mail, McLeans, Travel Life, San Fransisco Chronicle etc.
